The following pages are dedicated to some very good friends: a special Canada Goose couple I've been writing about going
on eight years, now--Poppy and Maudy. They are regulars at the Georgetown Reservoir in Washington, DC. and every late-Winter/early-Spring
we re-establish our friendship. I feel blessed to have this unique relationship and, although it's but a pebble in the great
cosmic scheme of things, it's a contribution worthy of note, just the same.
